MY CAREER SO FAR
Sarah finds that her introductions always tend to be multifaceted, a repercussion of having a multifaceted work experience in the professional world. With a range of skills in several different industries - theatre performance, creative, technical, and persuasive writing, administration, customer service, and education - Sarah is often intrigued as to how to best summarize both her skill set and my work experience. However, in every area she has worked, her personal qualities, motivation, creativity, organization, conscientiousness, and intentionality shine through every skill she has learned and become adept in.
She's worked as a professional performer since 2018, working with regional theaters in the Central Florida area such as Winter Park Playhouse, Titusville Playhouse, Orlando Family Stage and Theater West End. She also worked for Disney Cruise Line and is currently employed in entertainment at Universal Studios Florida.
In addition, she has spent the past three years working for Breaking Barre, a fitness studio in Central Florida voted Ovation's Best Gym & Fitness Health Studio in 2021 and Best Barre Studio with Best of Orlando in 2024. Acting as Front Desk Manager helped her directly apply her Bachelor's of Organizational Leadership & Business. Utilizing skills in business operations, customer service & experience, creative problem solving and business writing by creating and developing the Front Desk Employee Handbook, documenting and developing daily and long term operations, and crafting an Employee Review program.
CABARETS
Some of her favorite accomplishments involve her independent works. She has written, produced and starred in several solo performances, It's My Party and I'll Sing if I Want to, Ring in the Season: A Frozen Cabaret but the most notable being With A Smile and A Song: A Celebration of the Disney Princesses. In 2022, she won the Broadway World Orlando Award, Runner-Up Best Cabaret for this show.
The best and most fulfilling aspect of her cabaret work include the yearly fundraising cabaret for the Florida Fellowship Foundation, an organization that helps provide relief and support to people caught in emergency situations. After Ring in the Season: A Frozen Cabaret, $1,800 was raised to help families in need that holiday season!
